Councillor Nielsen is currently serving her 3rd term on Camrose City Council and has been a resident of Camrose for 35 years. Ina has been employed in the health services for 16 years in Camrose and for the past 28 years has been a partner of Nielsen Heating & Sheet Metal.

Volunteer involvement in the Community is important to Councillor Nielsen and she has added her expertise to the following groups: Past President of Habitat for Humanity Camrose, Past President Alberta CGIT Association and also currently serves on the Personnel Committee of the Camrose United Church.

In her leisure time, Councillor Nielsen enjoys reading, walking and travel. Councillor Nielsen has been appointed to the following Boards, Commissions and Committees:

• Camrose Police Commission
• Social Planning Advisory Committee
